My formal education is in Physics and Project Management. Most of my career activities have involved systems design and process engineering. Design and process engineering are as much an art as they are a science so from that perspective I have always been an "Artist".
I started watercolor painting in late 2010. I completed some classroom training but mostly spent my time reading, watching demonstrations, and experimenting with different approachs. I was juried into active status in 2011 with the Federation of Canadian Artists and shortly thereafter that began entering local shows.
